a few days ago my mom took me and my brothers to snow bird in utah it was a really fun time my grandpa came with us. at snow bird theres the alpine slide which is like a giant slide that goes down the mountain and you ride down it on a sled type thing with wheels, there is also bungee jumping, a tram that takes you up the mountain,horse back ridding hicking and other activities. while we where there we went on the tram which was really cool because when you got to the topyou could see every thing!!!!!! later we went on the alpine slide which was soooooooooo much fun! i went on maybe 5 times? somthing like that, but on my fourth time i was riding down the moutain and sundenly i just blacked out the next thing i knew i was ridding down the track on my elbows and knees and the sled was flipped over and on my ankle! and since the the mountain was steep i coutinued to slide down i guess i was in shock so for about 45 seconds i was just slidding then when i relized what was going on i huried and flipped the sled over and continued ridding down. when i ws about 30 feet away from the end, i relized i was missing one of my shoes once i got to the end i looked at my elbows and knee, i had really bad road rash on them and i twisted my ankle. we went to the people in charge and they helped me out with the first aid stuf.f nick eventully found my shoe going down. YAY!!! at the bottom he was cheering and jumping and acidently threw my shoe over the fence and a foot away fromw from a giant river. it was a definite oh nick momment! the old man next to us started to laugh i did too. i feel really bad for nick though because he had to get off his sled in the middle of the slide and try to sneek by the workers so he could grab my shoe because your not allowed to be in that area where my shoe landed and then at the bottom he chucked it poor nick. i have to admitt even after all this happened i went again. :) . but listen to me people usally dont get hurt on this thing, so dont make up your mind that your are never going to this place because its to dangerous its only dangerous if your being an idiot on it i do have to say i was going way to fast then i probally should have during the turns so just learn from my mistakes and try it for your self...
